Eat out : HALAL Burgers & Lobster and Oodle Noodle

Assalamualaikum,

youtube link : London - my story
The summary of our friendship in London captured by Amira's cool videography.

Last week, my friends from Lincolns came to visit me. They are currently completing their architecture part 2 ( also known as masters in architecture).  Its interesting to be an architect I guess because their exams are already the application of the real thing in phases called 'crits'. Truth be told I haven't seen Amira, since form 2 and Irene since I last said good bye to INTEC in 2009.

Man, but it didn't seemed a day I had left them after we spent time each other. I feel truly blessed to have them in my life. I had to work and had other things to do like attending the Yasmine Mogahed talk etc... so I really had to squeeze some time for me to hang out with them whenever I could. Luckily they were really hands-on in London, thanks to Irene.

One of the nights, when they stayed over at my place, we had a karaoke session with my laptop on youtube. Omg, gosh, how fun, we even end up talking until 3 am! Time flies when you are having fun! I miss them already so much! How I wish I could keep them both in a bottle and bring them wherever I go. haha #possessive

On a serious note, its amazing the amount of knowledge and experience one can gain from interaction between souls. Its just mesmerisingly beautiful you cannot express but only able to feel..awwwwhh =) #tearyeye

Okay, okay... now for the review of Burger and Lobster in Harvey Nichols. Its on the 5th floor.

First, the pics of course :

The entrance
The awesome spread. We all chose grilled lobsters. The sauce on the side is actually the butter and garlic sauce.

5/5 stars

Well to be honest, this isn't actually a 100% halal restaurant. They have only 3 menu's.. lol. They have more things to drink rather than to eat. Their mocktails were sooooo good! Alhamdulillah.
We paid £30 each for the drinks, food (£20), and desserts (which we shared). The dessert did not complement the mains though. Well, it was delicious, but I think the presentation was a let-down.
Overall, we stayed there for almost an hour and had the young night on our side and later headed to the winter wonderland even though it was drizzling! We danced and sing in the rain, laughed and made dirty jokes. xD You get to be crazy and wild only when you were young. Overall I spent around £50 (including the food and games at Winter wonderland)  for the whole priceless experience.

Oodle Noodle restaurant ( 100% halal)

The first day they arrived, I wanted to bring them to TukDin's, however, it opens at 6pm on Fridays.
So, we walked towards Bayswater and ate at Oodle Noodle. I treated them to a nice appetiser kuih.
And each of us ordered the pulled noodle soup. Yummers 4.8/5 stars. Totally recommend. As for the appetisers, the best was the triangle sesame seed prawn on toast.

£9 appetizer platter

La mein (roast chicken) noodle soup
*I am impressed with my cheap camera for capturing this pic* *claps proudly*
