Eggs overload
So at my house right now, Chiwimbo keeps eating eggs, eggs and more eggs everyday. *GAGSS*
I was inspired by her, non the less to make a dessert out of what is mostly, EGGS. Hence, yesterday was the first time I did egg tarts!And, boy were they delicious!
Crust:
1 stick of unsalted butter
2 cups of flour
a pinch of salt
1 egg
1/2 cup of white sugar
Filling:
3 or 4 medium sized eggs
1 cup of milk
1/3 cup of water
1 1/3 cup of sugar or less
a pinch of salt
The crust will turn out soft macam cookie batter sket..but its okay, have faith! =) You will need a muffin baking pan to shape and hold the crust. I sprayed oil on the pan before putting the crust batter. Pre - heat the oven to 350 Farenheit and bake for 40 mins! It will puff and huff but again.. have faith! Once it cools down, you can see that the yellow puff will inflate k! Have faith!
Gave it to Chiwimbo and my boss for breakfast. Amazing~ =)
