Eat out : La Petite Bretagne

Assalamualaikum,

Today I had a wonderful usrah with Kak Cempaka Sari and and kak Marina. After the sharing which was about embracing Ramadhan and reminding the basics of it and a short but deep tazkirah about time, we head out for desserts to the 'La Petite Bretagne' which translates as 'The Little Brittany' just a few mins in walking distance from the Hammersmith train station. Kak Cem took Kimah and Kak Jehan previously and made me jealous. Haha. Alhamdulillah this time it was my turn, *teary eye* thank you Allah! And a big thanks to Kak Cem for treating us. <3 <3 <3

I ordered the salted caramel crepe, with 3 toffees and latte infused with MORE of English toffee. Talk about crazy..  while both of my other sisters ordered nutella. =P drools.

One of the things I have learned is that never eat toffee while taking a picture. I enjoyed the outing, really. I think having older and wiser sisters as them are truly a blessing. Kak Marina and Kak Cem pointed out something important to me today. It was about having your own time alone. Since I got married, ( am not complaining) I barely have time for myself. Everything is spent together as a couple but sometimes it can be quite suffocating. I do hate when little things that I have to do for others as if they can't do it themselves drives me nuts! Ooo Allah.. you are the best giver and the best of all takers. To You I surrender my fate.

ps: Petite Bretagne is a sweet name for a shop. I wonder what was the 'inspiration' behind such pretty name... =)
