Eating home & Out : Fish and Zoo
Yesterday I received a call from my boss, asking me whether I would like to go to a zoo with Jamie and her 5 daughters. Of course... I agreed! Babies that smells like fruit loops and a trip to see animal in cages, who would turn that down? =D
Here are some of my baby sitting and zoo experience:
I made 3 pieces of my own garlic bread and shrimp pasta.. but I didn't take the pics. I am sorry next time for the recipe. Inshallah. But I made steamed tilapia with herbs and lemon with mushy peas and tomatoes!
How to make these:
Steam fish:
1) Clean the fish fillet with water and let it de-frost from the freezer.
2) Rub salt and pepper all over the fillet
3) Then just throw some herbs, I dashed some parsley and thyme and oregano.
4) Put a bit of oil and squeezed a bit of lemon juice on top.
5) Fold it inside an aluminium foil and steam for 30- 40 mins at 300 Farenheit oven.
Mushy peas:
1) Boil the frozen peas for 3 -5 mins
2) Put unsalted butter and a bit of milk..but not soupy like cereals ok! Something like 3 tablespoon and some
salt.
3) I put in 2 small boiled potatoes too (but that is optional)
4) Mash away!!
Tomatoes:
1) Jangan cakap byk ok, just basuh and potong.
However, as a bonus, I would like to include yesterday's outing with Geof and his wife Susan. They are Chiwimbo's home-stay parents. Tumpang sekaki la~ ;) They invited us to dine together at the Marina at the friend's place and she then invited us to go on a boat ride. I got the chance to drive the boat for a while on the way back. weeee~~~~
The healthy spread Wheat bread, corn, beans, tomatoes, tortillas, mixed fruit bowl, pasta with feta cheese and olives, salami's and chickpeas with celery. =) |
